Boundary Bay Airport is a small general aviation airport with two runways of 5,606ft (1.7km) and 3,750ft (1.1km). It is located close to the U.S. border in Delta, British Columbia. The airport is Canada’s busiest general aviation airport. It has one Fixed Based Operator and handling agent. The airport requires a flight permit but a slot is not required for landing and departures. Canada Border Services Agency officers are available on call to handle entry for general aviation aircraft carrying no more than 15 passengers. The airport is conveniently located 29km southeast of downtown Vancouver. It is open from 07:00-20:30 in the summer and 07:00-19:30 in the winter.
