FBO services at London Gatwick Airport
London Gatwick Airport features a single runway measuring 3,316 metres, capable of accommodating all categories of private jets, including long-range and VIP airliners. A second standby runway is available for emergencies. Due to its capacity and infrastructure, London Gatwick Airport is well suited to private aviation, offering streamlined handling and premium services. Below are the main FBOs serving private jet flights at the airport.
Signature Flight Support
Signature Flight Support is the primary FBO at London Gatwick and offers comprehensive handling for private jets. Located on the north side of the airfield, it provides full ramp services, customs and immigration clearance, and amenities for both passengers and crew. The facility includes a comfortable passenger lounge with refreshments, Wi-Fi, and pet-friendly options, as well as dedicated crew rest areas and briefing zones.
Signature also operates the Elite Class private terminal experience, which allows passengers to arrive landside and be escorted through a private security and border clearance process before being driven directly to the aircraft. This service ensures complete discretion, speed, and comfort for VIP travellers.
Swissport Executive
Swissport provides executive aviation services at Gatwick, including private jet ground handling, flight support, and concierge coordination. Passengers benefit from Swissport’s access to premium lounges and expedited airport services. While Swissport does not operate a dedicated FBO building at Gatwick, it offers handling services directly on the apron and coordinates with airport lounges for client comfort. Crew support, transport arrangements, and assistance with customs and immigration are all part of their offering.
