Best restaurants in Chambery
“For me formidable”, probably the founder was listening to that song while branding the most expensive restaurant in Chabèry recommended by Michelin.
The location facing the lake of Le Bourget is ideal and the dishes are in keeping with the surroundings. The chef uses local ingredients and herbs, flowers and plants from the park to create a "mystery" menu (walk, hike... and climb in 7 steps). Modern cuisine is at times tinged with originality. For example, the smoked beef in the style of gravlax.
L'Orangerie du Château de Candie
Chef David Loisel, a Breton by birth and with a good career behind him (he was Sylvestre Wahid's assistant), brings to life a modern cuisine based on the treasures of the Savoyard larder, which he sprinkles with nods to his native Brittany and proposes through a unique menu of 5 or 7 courses. Pleasant bistro cuisine (salmon tartare, leg of lamb) at La Cantine. Tasty.
