Olso International Airport
With a 30 million-passengers annual capacity, Olso International airport (OSL, ENGM), also called Oslo-Gardermoen Airport, is the closest and main airport for reaching Oslo, the capital city of Norway. The airport became the second-busiest commercial airport in the Nordic countries with 28.5 million passengers in 2018.
Located in Gardermoen in the municipality of Ullensaker in Akershus county, around 50 km (45 min) north northeast of Oslo’s city center, the airport has customs and is equipped with two runways of respectively 3.6 km and 2.9 km enabling all types of jet to land, from Turboprops and Very Light Jet to Long Range Business Jets and VIP Airliners.
Since 2012, the airport is equipped with a VIP terminal exclusively dedicated to the royal family, the prime minister and foreign heads of state and government.
