Nagoya Airport, also known as Komaki Airport is a domestic airport located in Toyoyama in Aichi Prefecture, about 10km (20min) away from Nagoya City centre. The airport was origninally the city's international airport until Chubu Centrair International Airport replaced it in 2005. Nagoya Airport has one runway of 8,989ft (2.7km) that is used for both general aviation and as a military airbase. The airport has five FBOs (Fixed Base Operators) and is suitable for all private jet categories, from Very Light Jets to VIP Airliners. Slots are required and customs are available upon request. The Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp. is also located at this airport.
