SKYe SH09, the first Swiss made helicopter

Marenco Swisshelicopter unveiled the prototype of the SKYe SH09 on November 28th, 2013 at the Mollis airport in Switzerland.  This new helicopter is designed to stand out from the competition and offers exceptional hot and high performance, state of the art design, a flexible engine concept and a low noise signature.  The first flight is expected in the first quarter of 2014 and the production should start in 2015.

With a maximum takeoff weight of 2,650 kg, the SKYe SH09 has seating for up to seven passengers in addition to the pilot.  A cruise speed of 260 km/h (140 knots) will allow it to offer a range in excess of 800km (430 nautical miles) with standard fuel tanks. The SKYe SH09 relies on high-performance features including:

Cabin modularity to make the most of the flat floor and the unique high ceiling concept.  It offers multiple seating arrangements and a facilitated rear access loading through the clamshell doors.  As a single platform, the helicopter will fulfill multi-role missions from emergency medical services, passenger transport, fire fighting, surveillance or flight instruction.

An intuitive man-machine interface with a modular glass cockpit designed to enhance safety and situational awareness.

A lightweight cell constructed of composite materials with high crash resistance, and excellent aerodynamics.

SKYe SH09 is fitted with a shrouded tail rotor designed to orchestrate a silent symphony and preserve your environment of operations.

LunaJets is excited about the launch of this new helicopter made in Switzerland.  We wish great success to Marenco Swisshelicopter and their SKYe SH09.  We look forward to booking flights on them in years to come, for our clients’ transfers from and to their private jets.
