LunaJets x Le Bureau Golf Tours

Flying 7500km in a private jet, playing 90 holes of golf at some of Europe’s most dramatic courses all within a 120 hour period might sound like something out of a Jules Verne novel but it is in fact the schedule for a once-in-a-lifetime golf trip run by golf travel specialists Le Bureau.

A group of eight golfers can take part in this trip and enjoy an amazing private jet tour all over Europe. Starting from London, the tour will take in golf at Old Head Links in Ireland, Machrihanish Golf Club in Scotland, the Bro Hof Slott Golf Course in Sweden, Thracian Cliffs in Bulgaria and Costa Navarino Bay in Greece before returning to Geneva.

The unique tour, named “The Five Scenics: Sea, Lakes and Cliff”, is the highlight of the partnership between Le Bureau International Golf Series and Lunajets. Focusing on delivering extraordinary money-can’t-buy experiences to small groups of clients, Le Bureau and Lunajets makes the impossible reality and delivers the highest standards of personal service for its clients.

Le Bureau and Lunajets has carefully selected five top class golf courses offering stunning scenery and enjoyable golfing challenges which showcase the incredible variety which European golf has to offer.

Located on a 220-acre diamond of land and jutting out over two miles into the Atlantic Ocean, Ireland’s Old Head Links is one of the most remarkable landscapes in golf. It rises hundreds of feet high above dramatic cliffs surrounded by the ocean on all sides and commands spectacular views.

Machrihanish Golf Club on the west coast of Scotland was designed by the father of golf, Old Tom Morris. It is a stunning test of links golf with the famous opening hole requiring golfers to play over a stretch of the Atlantic Ocean to find the fairway. Machrihanish was ranked 39th best course outside of the United States by Golf Digest in 2005.

Following an overnight stay in the newly refurbished Ugadale Hotel the group will then be whisked off to Sweden to play the Stadium Course at Bro Hof Slott Golf Club. Voted Sweden’s best golf course two years running and regularly featuring in European course rankings, this beautiful lakeside course hosts the Nordea Masters on the European Tour.

From Sweden it will be a journey across Europe to the emerging golf destination of Bulgaria. In its short history, Thracian Cliffs has already achieved international renown. The cliff-top course hugs the shores of the Black Sea and provides a challenge and setting which, in the words of its designer, Gary Player, “can´t be found anywhere else on the planet”.

Last but certainly not least is the Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Costa Navarino Bay Golf Course in Greece. Opened in October 2011, the Bay Course offers panoramic seaside and mountain views overlooking the historic bay of Navarino and a stiff test of golf.
