Germanwings's strike, private aviation could be the solution

Today, cabin crew unions from Lufthansa’s low cost carriers, Germanwings and Eurowings called for a one-day strike on Thursday 27th of October. This industrial action lead to 380 flight cancelations, mostly German domestic flights being affected.

The sudden strike which lead to hundreds of flights delayed and or canceled has been a passenger nightmare, espacially if your flight from Dusseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund, Hannover, Stuttgart, Berlin or Hamburg has been affected. Private aviation, using different crews, different aircraft and most of the time separate terminals might not be affected by those strike movements and therefore might be the alternative solution for you. If you are stuck in an airport and need to attend a business meeting or simply fly for your leisure, contacting a private jet broker can allow you to take off in your own chartered aircraft within an hour. You can even share the cost of your flight with other passengers encountering difficulties thanks to our Jet Sharing program, just as you would share a taxi ride.

Our team of expert already helped Lufthansa and Air France’s passengers to fly during their previous strikes and as usual, LunaJets is on hand to help you organise your alternative flight plans as business aviation is not affected by this movement.
