Platov International Airport
Situated 39km northeast of Rostov-on-Don, Platov International Airport is located in Novocherkassk in Rostov Oblast in Russia and is one of the busiest airports in Russia. Connected to the city-center by the M4 highway, this new airport opened late 2017 to replace Rostov-na-Donu Airport (RIV), which closed in March 2018.
Open 24/24 and equipped with customs, the airport requires slots for landing, enables a maximum parking of 1 hour and has no mandatory handling. Its 3.6-kilometer runway enables all types of jets to land and Platov Airport provides a 2,880 m2 VIP terminal for private jet passengers’ comfort.
