The under-development Falcon 5X is forecast to enter into service at the beginning of 2017 and promises to be an exceptional addition to the Dassault's range of business jets. Although it is categorised as a Super Midsize Jet, the Falcon 5X greatly exceeds usual expectations of an aircraft from this category in every area. The cabin is more spacious than that of many Large and some Super Large Jets and, at over 2 metres high, is taller than that of Embraer's Lineage 1000 VIP Airliner. It will also feature a stylish modern interior, including the first ever skylight ceiling window to appear in a corporate jet, as well as a state-of-the-art entertainment system and stabilisation technology to ensure a smooth and enjoyable flight. Up to 14 passengers will be able to travel in this luxurious aircraft, which also promises impressive performance, offering class-leading range and cruise speed that rival and, in fact, often surpass those of even Super Large Jets. Due to the combination of incredible spaciousness, performance and design, the Falcon 5X is one of the most eagerly anticipated Business Jets on the horizon and, if it lives up to expectations and fulfills Dassault's promises, is destined to set the benchmark for top-of-the-range private jet travel.
