Private jet travel goes online with LunaJets, which offers travelers the opportunity to purchase empty leg flights on private jets within Europe, Russia, the Middle East and the USA. “Empty leg flights” is a term used to describe private jets returning to their home bases empty.

According to the company’s official statements, LunaJets is the first to offer such flights online, where travelers can book flights directly for between 50-80 percent off full private jet fares. Prices are calculated on flight durations independent of cabin size.

The company says travelers will be able to enjoy all the comforts of private jet travel – from dedicated services and VIP treatment to onboard luxury – while avoiding the usual pitfalls of commercial air travel. Prices start at US$1,200. Registration on the LunaJets website is free.
